“Los ratones hacen fiesta.”
In English, that translates to “When the Cats are away, the Mice will play.” It doesn’t really rhyme in spanish, but a friend of mine introduced me to that phrase several years ago now, and I thought it was just the funniest thing.
ANYWAY, on to the post.
Last week, my parents went on a mission trip to Honduras leaving my adorable-hilarious-precocious little brother Jacob in the care of Benjamin and me. I don’t usually get a whole lot of opportunities to hang out and take pictures with Jake and Liam together, so while the parents were away… we three little mice got to play!
If you’re interested at all in hearing about the mission trip, and seeing pictures, check out the blog on the church’s home page: http://fbcfo.com/
Liam sure does like his Uncle Jake!
Children’s portraiture is so fun, because you never know what you’re going to get from them. Kids are so unpredictable, and so amazing with the depth of the emotions they carry for having so few years under their belt.
This is the face Jacob gets when you tell him that there ARE in fact games on the iPhone, but no, he may not play them. hahaha.
I LOVE LOVE L O V E This series of him. It’s SO his personality.

WRESTLE TIME! One day, Jake, One day… You will likely not be the bigger of the two of you.

Your brother has gotten so big! They are so cute together Lauren. I so want to do a photo session of Liam someday if you let me.
Awesome, my grand son’s are the BEST.. but the photography is beyond description.
OMG! how cute…..i love the dirty socks on Jake….priceless…great job, as usual!
